RoboTech Camp at LEGOLAND® California
RoboMedia invites you to join us for our 10th season of our Tech Camp. This one week Robotics camp will take place at LEGOLAND® California from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
This year, campers will be able to select their ability level of beginners, intermediate or advanced. Our highly trained staff will create activities and experiences based upon the campers experience level in their group.
Participants with Beginners experience will learn how to build and program the Mindstorms EV3 robot and participate in a robotics mini-competition.
Participants with Intermediate or Advanced experience will complete a project using the Mindstorms NXT and EV3 kit and participate in a robotics mini-competition. Participants for this camp should have prior robotics experience or have attended the beginners camp.
All levels will have the opportunities to explore LEGOLAND® California and the LEGOLAND® Waterpark.
There will be one session for you to choose from.
Session 1 - July 15 - 19, 2019
Robotics camp allows rising students, ages 7 to 14 years old, to design, build and program robots using the LEGO® MINDSTORMS robotics kits under the direction of a dedicated staff. Student groups, comprised of 8 campers, 2 counselors and 1 robot for every 2 campers, will use their imagination to program and solve challenging problems. Students will also learn valuable skills, such as team building, time management, and presentation skills. This is a great camp for individuals interested in participating in a FIRST LEGO® League team.
On Friday of each week in both camps, campers will end with a Lego Mindstorms competition that families are invited to attend.
Cost varies from $375 to $425 per camper. Discounts are applied the earlier you register. Multi child family discounts are also available. See the payment page for more details. The cost includes daily park admission, cost of materials and a camp T-shirt. Campers must bring a sack lunch with them everyday. Campers should also bring money for snacks while out in the park.
The camp has a maximum capacity of 60 campers per week.
A confirmation email will be mailed once registration is received.
